First I want to congratulate our dear friends Anna and Tyler Young. Anna is preggo with her first and Tyler is already making Anna cry! Good work my pirate friend. Please see Anna's blog for more details on this. Her blog link can be found in my first entry towards the bottom of the page.
So as my title states, we are going to California! We will be there from August 14th - August 20th. We'll also be staying with my dad who has a cozy apartment in Mira Loma which is not far from Ontario where we will be arriving. On the to do list:
San Diego Zoo and Wildlife Park
SAN DIEGO night life
Univeral Studios Anehiem
Disney Land
Hollywood Shopping and Sight Seeing
Casinos & Much Gambling (sorrow)
Visit Family
I have no doubt in my mind that this vacation is going to blow right by us, but we plan on taking advantage of every hour there.
Most of my father's side of the family lives in California, but I doubt I will see much of them. There's a lot of feuding going on between my dad's brothers and sister and unfortunately this makes visiting them challenging. I hope to at least have the opportunity to visit my last surviving grandparent which is my my father's mom who is living with my aunt in Cali.
I will be ready to give a full detailed report on my adventures when I return. Hopefully I won't be inundated with work stuff when I get back. For now, I'm not going to worry about it.

It's nice to know that some of you are interested in what I'm doing outside of WoW. I sometimes wish that we could all get together some day and have a beer and talk about stuff outside of WoW. Then I think, wait a minute some of us aren't even old enough to drink beer!?
To Couer, I'm keeping an eye on your blog and your mother is in my prayers. Best wish to you and your family and I hope that everything works out. And to Enno, I hear you're still rocking that Guitar Hero II! Awesome! I hope you're still pursuing the CIA opportunity and running those marathons. Get Ken some sun while you're at it!

Can I recommend ditching the Universal Studios Aneheim? Unless it's changed in the past 5-10 years, its a waste of money. Universal City Walk isn't bad--random shopping and restauraunts, plus its free (minus parking). But really Universal Studios sucks (you can verify this with Tyler if you desire a second opinion : ) Time would be better spent with Family or doing 'touristy' things : )
I hope you are having fun in California and are enjoying a nice vacation and of course I am interested in your life outside of WoW.
Although I'm currently being talked into coming back to be a healer for some battlegrounds. Not sure though since I am still really busy.
I'm definitely still pursuing my dream of working for the government...it's just a terribly slow and painful process. Ken I believe has cracked under the pressure of being blindingly white and has taken to tanning...it's really cute when he gets all pink and I poke his "fake sunburn" ;)
don't listen to anna, go to universal. I thought it sucked but you get to make fun of the stupid people and beat up rides and have fun anyway. I especially loved the Terminator show and how he rides in on a fake motorcycle. VROOM VROOOOOOOM BABY!!!!
Have In 'N Out Burger for me! Better make it two.
